Family-Owned. Personally Involved.

Mercy Venture Home Buyers didn't start because we wanted to build another company that buys houses. It started because Mike and Lena Meadowcroft have spent their lives learning how to navigate complicated situations, serve people, and deliver when the pressure is on.

Before real estate, Lena spent years working in television news. Behind the polished broadcast viewers saw on television was an environment where things could change by the minute. Breaking news, tight deadlines, unpredictable circumstances, long production days, and the constant pressure to get it right were simply part of the job. The lesson wasn't just how to produce a superior product. It was how to stay calm when circumstances aren't calm. How to listen. How to solve problems. And how to deliver when people are counting on you.

Mike's journey has been shaped by a different kind of service. He has spent years preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in multiple nations and serving alongside ministries around the world. Mike and Lena have also pastored a church in the Tampa Bay area, where they had the privilege of serving families in their community—not just from a pulpit, but by giving their time, providing food and resources, and showing up when people needed help. Those experiences changed the way we see people. Because behind every difficult situation is a person. And behind every property is a story.
